Magbis’ practice focuses on litigating cases involving every aspect of the maritime industry, including torts, contract disputes, property damage, insurance coverage, collisions, seaman and maritime worker injuries, toxic torts, and product liability, in State Court, Federal Court, Administrative Court, and Arbitration. Magbis also has substantial experience litigating cases arising under the Defense Base Act for all injuries occurred at U.S. military bases and U.S. public works abroad. Magbis prides herself on her ability to break down complex issues, develop winning strategies, and securing favorable outcomes for her clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Magbis worked at large national and local firms handling high-exposure cases under maritime law, general liability, product liability, class actions, auto and truck liability, toxic tort, and commercial litigation.

While in law school, Magbis interned for the Honorable Migna Sanchez-LLorens at the 11th Judicial Circuit Court and at the City of Miami – Office of the City Attorney. Magbis also participated in a study abroad program, taking classes in International and Comparative Law in Sevilla, Spain.
